I'd definitely recommend Professor Plaxco to another student. He is one of the best teachers I've ever had and clearly both knows the subject well and continues to learn more. I learned a lot in this class.
Dr. Plaxco knows what he is talking about, and it is extremely evident in his lectures. He makes the lessons easy to understand by providing clear examples and comparisons. . . . I really enjoyed his class!
Dr. Plaxco made the course interesting and has sparked my interest in learning more about several individuals who influence Christianity. I want to take more religion classes now because of him.
Dr. Plaxco is the kind of professor that is capable of making a student go from being annoyed with having to take a GenEd class in religion to find it nteresting and engaging enough to add a second major. Without a doubt the best instructor at Lindenwood.
I wish the teachers in my major were as intense as [Professor Plaxco].
Professor Plaxco was one of the best instructors I have ever had. Class was very engaging and informing. . . . Very rewarding experience.
Professor Plaxco is an awesome teacher. I would recommend him to anyone. Really good at what he does.
If I still had time to take more classes at Lindenwood, I would take another class with him. He is an exceptional teacher.
I enjoyed the format of this course. Although it was a lecture course, I was never bored during lectures (and I'm a history major, so I've had my fair share of lecture courses). The professor also had several in-class group activities to split up the lectures. Quizzes were a great mixture of reading material information and classroom lecture information, providing those who attended class regularly an advantage over those who hardly showed up…. I honestly felt that Professor Plaxco truly cared about all of our success in his class and I enjoyed the class a lot.
He took a difficult topic and made it very clear and easy to understand. The topic was very engaging.
Recommended—he is a great professor and very understanding. You can tell he is interested in seeing you succeed.
