My research takes place at the intersection of intellectual history, textual analysis, and the development of philosophy and theology in the first five centuries of the common era. I am especially interested in the influence of Hellenistic philosophy on early Christian intellectual traditions, and have focused in my writing on the Alexandrian tradition.
